About Me!
My name is Chinanu Obike. I graduated from Walsh University on May 4th 2024 where I was a digital communications major. I am Nigerian, American, I relocated to North Canton Ohio for school but my hometown is Houston, Texas where I currently am residing. While attending Walsh University, I was a student-athlete as a member of the Walsh University Soccer team.
Through out my years at Walsh University and Internships, I have gained experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Adobe AfterEffects and Premiere Pro. I also make graphics and Do sports photography for Walsh University’s basketball, soccer, and football teams, and any other teams that needs it. I also do a bit of video editing/videography. I was the head Graphic Designer for my University's Football program and also the head of their Social Media accounts. This position included responsibilities such as running photoshoots, proactively making graphics that would be posted to various social media platforms like Twitter (X), Instagram, Outlook, and the school website. I also posted and monitored all content for the Social Media platforms. The Social Media platforms that I interacted with the most were Twitter and Instagram.
Some things I am passionate about are staying active, traveling with my family, various sports, mostly Soccer and Basketball. I also love gaming occasionally, mostly playing sports games like NBA 2k, FIFA, UFC, etc.
I'm currently working a year-long position at TCU as a Graphic Design - Creative Content Intern where i make various graphics for different sports and also photography as needed.
